As a visual artist, and someone who works with interior designers frequently, I wasn't sure I needed a stager. I wasn't sure how well I could even work with one, as our opinions might differ. So many homes staged for sale appear hollow and cheap, imo. Anyway, I made the leap based on House Candy Home's beautiful portfolio and social media feed. Ashley's work was balanced and contemporary, and each house was styled to reflect its own spirit and potential. No cookie-cutter formula.
Well, hiring HCH turned out to be the absolute best decision. Ashley transformed our (already lovely) home into a showstopper. She styled the home with almost entirely our own art and furniture, adding a few key pieces of her own. Her color consult on exterior paint was also spot on. Neighbors and strangers were complimenting me on the dramatic improvement.
All of this combined with the skill of our incredible real estate agents, landed us with several offers, and a selling price $350k over asking!
